Why Now — and Not a Fear.
The public AI stack was built on a trillion-dollar bet: massive infrastructure spend, minimal revenue, and a hope for platform lock-in. When the returns are demanded and don't materialize, quality degrades on a schedule you can almost set a watch by — rate limits rise, free tiers shrink, prices climb, and privacy policies quietly expand to cover training on your data.
This is not a conspiracy theory. It is the same well-documented cycle — Cory Doctorow named it enshittification — that ran through social media, search, and every rented platform before them: first the platform is good to its users to grow; then it degrades the user experience to serve its business customers; then it degrades everything to serve itself. The pattern isn't evil genius. It's venture economics doing what venture economics does.
We state this as fact and call, not fear. This is not a dismal future to paint darkly — it's the plainest reason to act while acting is cheap. The models you can own outright are already good enough to run a business on. The window in which a person can step out of the rental cycle — while the tools are open, the hardware is cheap, and the knowledge is public — is open now.

Everything offered under this name operates under one covenant, and it is non-negotiable:
- We don't want to own their data. We want to steward their stack. No central store of client data exists on our side — structurally, not contractually.
- Sovereignty is about who owns the relationship. Not self-hosting for its own sake — ownership of the relationship between you and your intelligence.
- In a sovereign deployment there is no vendor holding your data. There is nothing to breach.
- Every engagement ends with the client more capable. Someone on your team is trained to steward your own AI. Dependency is a design failure.
- The kill switch is yours. Physical, documented, practiced — and never in our hand.

Strip away the infrastructure and what is actually being forged is a relationship: an AI that knows your work, runs in your building, answers to your rules, and gets better for you — not for a platform's growth metrics. Not the router. Not the box.

- A steward is trained — one of the client's own, named in the runbook.
- The client grows more capable — the engagement is designed to end well, not to never end.
- The lessons compound — every deployment sharpens the playbook the next client inherits.
- The record grows — validated, recorded work is the only work that counts.
- The next window opens — capability spreads person to person, referral by referral.
We win when you need us less. That inversion is the whole architecture.
